Kwibuka26 - Ambassador Hope Tumukunde Gasatura's message to the Rwandan Community in Ethiopia and Djibouti

Today, 7th April 2020, marks the 26th Commemoration of the 1994 Genocide against the Tutsi in Rwanda. The Usual Kwibuka activities at the African Union Headquarters and at the Embassy and in Djibouti will not happen as is usually the case due to the current circumstances related to the COVID19 pandemic. However, our Community will commemorate from our respective homes. We will follow through our national Radio, Television and through social media the different activities, discussions and messages at the national level starting with the events on 7th April at the Gisozi Genocide Memorial in the morning and thereafter the main message of H.E President of the Republic of Rwanda.

In this regard, H.E. Hope Tumukunde Gasatura, Ambassador of the Republic of Rwanda to the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia, to the Republic of Djibouti and Permanent Representative to the African Union and to the United Nation's Economic Commission for Africa has sent a message to the Rwandan Community living in Ethiopia and Djibouti on this day.
